Scholarships From The John Hart Hunter Educational Foundation, Inc.

2023–2024 Scholarship Information

The John Hart Hunter Educational Foundation, Inc., is pleased to announce its 24st annual scholarship program for the 2023–2024 academic year. As in the past, the Foundation will award several scholarships for various amounts, ranging from US $500 to as much as US $2,000.

The program’s goal is to recognize our outstanding undergraduate members based on their academic achievement, financial need, extracurricular activities, contributions to their active chapter, and support of the Society. This email is being sent only to undergraduate members who paid their initiation fee, as required by the Executive Council. We appreciate your dedication to your chapter and to the Society, and we would like to recognize your accomplishments.

To apply for a scholarship, you must complete an application form (downloadable PDF file) and return it to our Lansing, New York, office by regular or electronic mail along with your essay, as noted in the application, as well as a copy of your current official academic transcript from your university or college. Copies of downloaded transcripts are acceptable.

You optionally may, and are strongly encouraged to, solicit one letter of support from someone quite familiar with your accomplishments. See the instructions on the application form regarding a letter of support.

The due date for all applications is December 20, 2023.

We will announce our selections in mid-January 2024 and plan to recognize all scholarship winners at an upcoming celebratory event to be scheduled when virus epidemic conditions permit.
