Scholarships From The John Hart Hunter Educational Foundation, Inc.

2018–2019 Scholarship Information

The John Hart Hunter Educational Foundation, Inc. is pleased to announce its 19th annual scholarship program for the 2018–2019 academic year. As in the past, the Foundation will award several scholarships for various amounts, ranging from US$500 to as much as US$2,000.

The program’s goal is to recognize our outstanding undergraduate members based on their academic achievement, financial need, extracurricular activities, contributions to their active chapter, and support of the Society. This email is being sent only to undergraduate members who paid their initiation fee as required by the Executive Council. We appreciate your dedication to your chapter and to the Society, and we would like to recognize your accomplishments.

To apply for a scholarship, you must complete the application form (downloadable PDF file) and return it to our Lansing, New York, office by regular or electronic mail along with a copy of your transcript from your university or college. Copies of downloaded transcripts are acceptable. In addition, we require a letter in support of your application from one of the following current officers of your local chapter: President, Secretary, First Vice President, Second Vice President, or Treasurer. If, for any reason, that is not possible, we will also consider a letter of support from your chapter’s alumni association president. The letter of support may be sent to our Lansing, New York office by regular or electronic mail.

The due date for all applications is December 21, 2018.

We will announce our selections in mid-January 2019 and plan to recognize all scholarship winners at the 161th New York City Dinner on Friday, February 1, 2019, at the Princeton Club.
